Bosch ESI[truck]’s latest software update covers hundreds of vehicles, including Cummins, Navistar and Paccar vehicles.
Bosch, the world's leading technology and service provider, announced the 2021/4 software update of the 3824A ESI[truck] heavy-duty diagnostic solution. Thousands of new tests and codes have been added to help technicians provide the latest services for hundreds of commercial vehicles. In addition, the update also includes new brands and models that can be repaired, such as the Navistar MaxxForce engine, Mack TCM Transmission and Dana CTIS Mechatronic.
The latest software version adds the following functions and optimizations:
Expand coverage: The latest update will cover hundreds of new brands and models, allowing technicians to help a wider range of customers. This includes Mack EMS V3 engines, the new Detroit Cascadia models and Volvo/Mack US17/US19/US21 models. In addition, the new update also contains 33,340 fault codes, 2,281 electronic control systems and 820 diagnostic functions.
Search server for new system variants: Update the connection to the Bosch server to search for new system variants, provide enhanced data access and allow technicians to better serve the entire store. After accessing the Bosch server, new system updates can be downloaded to the diagnostic tool.
Filled VIN and mileage data: For smoother diagnosis, connected vehicles that provide VIN and/or odometer readings in the available data stream will be automatically populated in the system overview report.
Provide extended license subscription: Extended license subscription (ELS) provides technicians with the opportunity to continue using the existing ESI truck software when the annual update expires or expires. Technicians can continue to use Bosch products to provide high-quality diagnostics. However, for best results, it is recommended to follow regular updates.
